KCPR Cal Poly Radio 🇺🇸

KCPR 91.3 FM is Cal Poly's student-run radio station, serving Cal Poly and San Luis Obispo. A learning lab for students to gain experience in radio production, journalism, music curation, marketing, and management. KCPR champions alternative, independent music, providing a platform for underrepresented artists. Broadcasting on 91.3 FM in SLO and streaming online globally. Programming includes indie rock, electronic, hip-hop, and local music. Local news focuses on Cal Poly and SLO issues. Public affairs covers social and political topics. Live events include concerts and sports. Original podcasts cover diverse subjects. Managed by student leaders, KCPR is non-commercial, funded by student fees and donations. Students develop communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Alumni have succeeded in radio, TV, journalism, and music.
