KUTC, broadcasting on 99.3 FM, is the student-run radio station of the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) in Edmond, Oklahoma. Branded as "The Buzz," KUTC focuses on alternative rock, indie rock, and college radio programming. As part of UCO's Mass Communication department, KUTC provides students with practical experience in a professional broadcasting environment. Students manage all aspects of KUTC, from on-air personalities and DJs to news reporters and music directors. They contribute to programming, manage administrative tasks, and create audio content. KUTC's programming includes genre-specific shows covering hip-hop, electronic music, and more. The station also broadcasts talk shows, UCO Bronchos sports coverage, and public affairs programming, allowing students to develop skills, build portfolios, and network with industry professionals.
