Ronin Radio is Oakland University's student-operated radio station, providing a platform for student voices and local music. As an educational platform, Ronin Radio allows students to gain practical experience as on-air personalities, producers, news reporters, music directors, program directors, and marketing staff. Located on the Oakland University campus, Ronin Radio broadcasts a diverse range of music genres, including alternative, indie, rock, electronic, and hip-hop. Ronin Radio maintains a website and social media presence to promote its programming and engage with listeners. A faculty member from the university's communications department provides guidance to the student staff.
