Tilderadio is an internet radio station deeply connected to the Tildeverse, a network of independent Unix-like servers. Operated by volunteers, it's a non-commercial project dedicated to sharing music and fostering community within the Tildeverse. The music is curated by Tildeverse members, resulting in a wide range of genres: electronic, indie rock, classical, folk, and experimental. Live DJ sets from Tildeverse members add a personal touch, allowing DJs to showcase their tastes and interact with listeners. Tilderadio embraces simplicity and includes an IRC channel for chat, requests, and DJ interaction. Reflecting the decentralized nature of the Tildeverse, multiple Tilderadio instances may exist, each with unique music and community. It offers an alternative to mainstream media by promoting independent music and the original spirit of the internet.
