Valley Eye Radio is a radio reading service committed to providing audio access to printed materials for individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or have other print disabilities. We broadcast readings of newspapers, magazines, books, and various other publications, making information and entertainment readily accessible. Our programming includes local, regional, and sometimes national newspapers, ensuring our listeners stay informed about current events. We also offer a diverse selection of magazines, covering topics such as news, current events, lifestyle, health, and hobbies. Books of various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, and biographies, are read in serial form. In addition to these core offerings, we also provide important announcements, public service information, and details about local events happening in the community. Valley Eye Radio relies heavily on the dedication of volunteers who donate their time and talent to read the materials clearly and expressively. While we traditionally broadcast on a subcarrier frequency of a local FM radio station, requiring a special receiver, we now also stream our programming online, making it accessible via computers and smartphones.
