YCRadio is a student-run radio station based at York College of Pennsylvania, providing a platform for students in broadcasting, journalism, communications, and related fields to gain hands-on experience. Students manage all aspects of the station, from programming and on-air talent to technical operations. As an educational platform, YCRadio allows students to develop skills in radio production, on-air presentation, music programming, news reporting, and station management. The station aims to engage both the York College campus community and the broader York, Pennsylvania, community, providing a voice for students and featuring local news and events. YCRadio's programming includes a diverse mix of music genres, such as alternative, indie, rock, pop, and electronic, as well as talk shows, news programs, and sports coverage, driven by the interests and passions of student DJs and programmers. YCRadio operates as a non-commercial radio station, adhering to FCC regulations while offering online streaming for listeners worldwide.
